The Futurism style of painting was founded in 1909 in Milan, Italy. The main artists of The Futurism Art Movement were Gino Severini and Giacomo Balla. The objectives of these artists was to reject the old values and styles and paint the modern age of industrialization and a perpetual state of movement. Futurism ended at the outbreak of World War 1 when the artists all enlisted into the army.
