Francesco del Cairo is an Italian Baroque artist, born in Lombardy, Italy, in the 17th century. He is renowned for his religious art and paintings of saints, drawing inspiration from the Italian artist Guido Reni.
Religious paintings include Herodias with the Head of St. John the Baptist, which is part of the collection at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
He also completed altar-piece paintings in Rome, where he was a Court painter to the House of Savoy.
