Charles Angrand was a French artist, known for his Impressionist paintings and Neo-Impressionist style.Angrand was influenced in his early work by Jean-Baptist-Camille Corot. Charles Angrand moved to Paris in the 1880’s and became friends with Georges Seurat, Vincent van Gogh and Paul Signac. Angrand followed Seurat and Signac using a Pointillist style, but in more muted colors.
