Georges Valmier was a French artist known for his Impressionist and Cubist artwork. Later on in his career Valmier’s paintings became more Abstract. Valmier grew up in Paris and studied at the Academy Des Beaux Arts. He was drafted into the army and fought in the First World War and in 1918 he returned to Paris to resume painting. Valmier died at aged only 51 years old having painted some 300 paintings.
