Scottish artist Edward Walton is known for his landscape and portrait paintings. Walton trained in Düsseldorf and then Glasgow. He became one of the Glasgow School artists also known as the Glasgow Boys. Walton painted in the Scottish Highlands, but he also worked in London and painted in Suffolk.
Walton’s Berwickshire Field Workers 1884 is held at the Tate in London. The National Gallery of Scotland holds his oil painting A Daydream.
