Agnolo di Cosimo was known as Agnolo Bronzino or just Bronzino and was a Mannerism painter during the Italian Renaissance. Bronzino lived and painted in Florence his entire life and was appointed to the Medici Court.
Some of Bronzino’s famous portraits are Eleonora di Toledo with her son Giovanni de Medici and Portrait of Eleonora di Toldedo 1539. Bronzino’s religious and allegorical painting The Holy Family with the Infant Saint John the Baptist is held by the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts.
