Nils Krueger was a 20th century Swedish painter who specialized in landscapes and rural scenes, especially with livestock and horses. He trained at the Swedish Royal Academy in Stockholm and then in Paris, after which he moved back to a rural life in Sweden, painting scenes influenced by the paintings of Paul Gauguin and Vincent van Gogh, whose works had been exhibited in Stockholm.
Krueger is best known for “October Evening at Varberg- Northern Lights”, “Evening in March”, and “Hastar”
