Thomas Blinks is an English artist known for his paintings of dogs. He was born in 1853 and died in 1910 aged 57. The Blinks family lived in North London and their neighbors included other famous artists, Alma Tadema and James Tissot.
Thomas Blinks was the most acclaimed sporting artist of the 19th century whose famous dog paintings were sought after by art collectors in both Europe and the United States.
