The Ashcan school was started in the U.S. in the early 20th Century as a movement against American Impressionism. Their paintings depicted real life scenes, mainly in the poorer areas of New York City. William Glackens, Robert Henri and George Bellows were well known members and other American artists of the same era, such as Edward Hopper were also associated with the group. George Bellows’ famous oil painting Stag at Sharkey’s 1909 is held at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Just to say thank you for my painting which I am absolutely thrilled with. Your artists are first class.

Hi Alex,I want to let you how pleased I am with my painting. It looks amazing. I took it to my framer to have it stretched and a very simpleSide slat frame. I will be ordering from you again shortly. Thank you very much.

Hi there, I recently ordered a piece from you guys and I am very happy. I was wondering whether you could reproduce the attached piece of art. Size wise I am thinking 140cm height and 85-100cm width? Would it be possible?
